I found CRC through my internship in the Social Work program at Longwood University in 2011. I fell in love with the campers and volunteers. I returned as the intern in 2012, volunteered in 2013 and became the only paid staff member for CRC in 2014. The sense of belonging and genuine acceptance created an environment that is unlike anything I've experienced. Like many of our volunteers, I liken my experiences with CRC to what it will be like in heaven - all love, acceptance and joy.
